Red Coach also had great 'shoe till they closed. Mike and John's (a Godfather's chain) used the original Red Coach recipe at the same location. Sadly, they have closed recently too. The Horseshoe is my favorite food ever (followed by Mel-O Cream donuts). In my opinion, Jungle Jim's Cafe on North Peoria Rd is the best Horseshoe (since Red Coach is no longer with us). Darcy's and Sgt Pepper's are also great places to get a 'shoe. I love me a Buffalo Chicken Horseshoe! That, or Bacon! As a Springfield native, I applaud you!
